Foreign activities

• As follows from the above mentioned activities atelier AUREX has co-operated with many foreign companies, from the EU programmes point of view being mainly active in PHARE programme, especially in tasks dealing with the preparation of the Slovak Republic for the accession to EU and with the increase of the absorption capacity for the Structural funds use. The list of PHARE projects with AUREX participation during the period 1991-2004 can be seen in the above mentioned overview.
• AUREX, Ltd. has been registered in the Central Consultancy register PHARE/TACIS of EU in Brussels under No. SLK-1238.
• Atelier AUREX keeps the information and/or professional contacts with many European research and project organisations. Its employees took part in many professional study stays and workshops, e.g. in Germany (1993), USA (1994), Netherlands (2004). Mr.Hrdina, the partner and employee of the company, has been a member-correspondent of the Akademie fűr Raumforschung und Landesplanung in Hannover, Germany.
• Atelier AUREX is on the list of the Survey of Organisations Working in the Field of Environment Statistics and Data of UN Environment Program, on the list of Spatial Research Institutes in Central and Eastern Europe of German Federal Ministry for Regional Planning, Construction and Urban Development, as well as on the list of ESPON (European Spatial Planning Observation Network) partners.
• AUREX , Ltd. is on the list of the companies capable of preparing and working out the projects for pre-accession and structural funds of EU for potential applicants, kept by the Ministry of Building and Regional Development of SR.
• Atelier AUREX is offering each year (from 1998) one training post for the foreign student within the activities of the International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE) in the field of urban and territorial planning. Atelier AUREX has been offering the training posts for other foreign students in the field of urban and territorial planning, too.
